🎃 Spooky Pottery Painting at The Courtyard Café! 🎨 

Looking for a seasonal activity to do with friends, the kids or even for a date?

Crafty Monkey will be at The Courtyard Café in Papworth Everard on Sunday, 27th October 2024 at 10:30am with a fun and creative Spook-tacular Pottery Painting session! 🖌️

Event Information:

💀Either choose one of our seasonal pieces or paint an autumnal or creepy theme on a mug, jug, plate, vase or whatever you fancy! Choose from our wide range of pottery in our online shop! 🏺Also see suggestions in the gallery below.

🪦No experience is necessary and full instructions will be provided on the day.

🕸️The café will be decked out with a spooky vibe.  Along with their normal offerings, Halloween-themed cakes 🧁and autumnal drinks 🍁, including pumpkin spiced latte🎃☕will be on the menu!

Bring your creativity and join us for a frighteningly ghoulish time! 🖤

💰Price: 

• £6 per painter - this covers the underglaze paints, firing, and glazing
• Plus the price of the pottery piece you choose to paint - see prices in our online shop

You can also purchase fang-tastic drinks, sweet treats or even a spot of lunch after your creative fix on the day from The Courtyard Cafe.

 👻 How it works: 

• Book your spaces: Select seating and pay the £6 per person (this covers paint, materials, firing and glazing)
• Next, head over to our online shop and select the pottery item you would like to paint from our huge range or shop our autumn themed pottery. We advise just selecting one item per person as it can take longer than you think to paint.  There's no need to order paints as we bring them on the day.
• At checkout make sure tick the box for for The Courtyard event on 27th October and fill in the required information. Our stock levels are not live on our site so it's worth having a back up option which you can enter here. Also add the table number you've booked onto. 
• We will bring the pottery, underglaze paints and all you need to paint your piece on the day.
• After you’ve painted we’ll bring your piece back to our studio to be glazed and fired. This process takes around 2 weeks.
• Once ready, we will email you to let you know you can collect. You can choose when ordering pottery if you want to collect from The Courtyard, Crafty Monkey in St. Neots or to have it posted to you (for an extra fee).

FAQ's 

🧟‍♀️Is this activity child-friendly? 

Yes, it's suitable for all ages and a fun bonding activity that you can enjoy with your child/ren. However, please be minded that preschoolers and younger children may not have long attention spans and may be finished painting very quickly.

 🐈‍⬛If bringing my child/ren, will I also have to paint? 

We would encourage you to paint but if you don't want to we can allow one adult per booking to accompany minors.

 ⚰️Do you provide aprons? 

No, Pottery painting is surprisingly unmessy, even for most children and our underglazes wash easily from clothes. However, feel free if you would like to bring one.

 🕷️Can you post our items when ready? 

We can post out for an extra charge (£5.50 for a small package, £8 for large) however it is at your own risk as we cannot take responsibility for what happens in transit and we can't insure pottery so it will be the risk you take.  We do wrap items well and get very few breakages but they can occur.
