While reaping the therapeutic benefits of working with clay you'll learn basic hand building pottery techniques to sculpt clay into a unique pumpkin at Crafty Monkey Studio, St Neots. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some pottery experience, this ceramics workshop is designed to accommodate and inspire everyone. What's included in this pottery class? • Clay, tools and materials • Step by step guidance from our friendly instructors • Learn the pinch pot technique, perfect for beginners and experienced potters alike • Shape and mould your own ceramic pumpkin, ideal for autumn decor or as a handmade gift • Add your personal touch with textures, carvings and glazes • Glazing and kiln firing When will my pottery be ready? Once fired, allow 4 to 5 weeks before your handmade pumpkin is ready to collect. If you're after a creative, seasonal activity, come and explore the world of ceramics with us. Spaces are limited, so book your spot online in advance.
Terms & Cancellation Policy
By proceeding with the booking, it is understood that all parties in the reservation have accepted these terms. Drying and Firing Process: Items need leaving with us to dry before we can fire them. We will email you when your piece is ready for collection. This process typically takes 4-5 weeks. Pottery Making Risks: Due to the nature of hand-building with clay, issues can arise during the making, drying, and firing processes that could affect your piece. By following our guidance, you can greatly minimise these risks. If problems do occur, we will attempt to fix them, but it may not be possible.
