Take part in our fun and creative Clay Slab Pot hand-building pottery workshop, where you'll learn pottery techniques and sculpt versatile pots that can be functional or decorative. We'll guide you step-by-step and teach pottery making basics from kneading and rolling out clay to shaping and joining clay to make pots using the slab-building method. You’ll have the freedom to customise your pot with textures, carvings, stamps and colours. By the end of the class, you'll have created a handmade pot that, after drying and firing at our studio (allow 4-5 weeks), will be ready to brighten up your home or make a thoughtful gift. Here’s some of the things you can make: • 🪴 Animal Planter: Add ears, tails, and paws to create a quirky character. • ☕ Slab-Pot Mug or Jug: Add a handle and texture for the ultimate coffee cup or jug. • 🕯️ Decorative Lantern: Use cut-out techniques to create a glowing tea light holder. • 🧑‍🦲 Pot Head Planter: Transform your pot into a fun and quirky face. Add eyes, ears, a nose and even glasses. • 🍒 Boob Pot: Embrace body positivity and sculpt a Boob Pots from Clay - Perfect for your Succulents! • 🪻 Botanical Pots or Lanterns: We have a large range of botanical stamps and cutters, or bring your own dried flowers in to press into the clay. • 🖊️ Classic Pot: Perfect for pens, toothbrushes, or a stylish desk tidy.
