Wyton on the Hill Primary School
We visited CraftyMonkey for a school trip. I took 20 reception children there to paint an egg cup, which is linked to our topic area of Easter. It was such a lovely morning, extremely chilled and relaxed. The owner of the workshop took the class and was fantastic with them, very friendly, kind and understanding that they were only 4 and 5 year olds. She taught them a few pottery rules and the children listened intently. The children all painted an Easter egg cup with no help and they really had a lovely time. When we left they were very excited by what they had done and are looking forward to seeing the final piece once it has been in the kiln.
