This hands-on class introduces basic hand building techniques, including the pinch pot method, in a relaxed and creative setting. Sculpting with clay builds fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination, boosts confidence, and gives a calming, sensory activity away from screens. What's included in this pottery class? • Clay, tools and materials • Step by step guidance from our friendly team • Once made, it's time to paint your monster however you like with our underglazes • We leave your make to dry before we clear glaze and kiln fire • A one of a kind monster to take home once fired Who is this pottery class for? Any age over 8 years. If booking children on, you can drop them off and collect at the end of the class. When will my pottery be ready? Ready to collect around 4 to 5 weeks after the class, once dried and kiln fired. Spaces on our pottery classes fill up fast, book online in advance.
Terms & Cancellation Policy
By proceeding with the booking, it is understood that all parties in the reservation have accepted these terms. Drying and Firing Process: Items need leaving with us to dry before we can fire them. We will email you when your piece is ready for collection. This process typically takes 4-5 weeks. Pottery Making Risks: Due to the nature of hand-building with clay, issues can arise during the making, drying, and firing processes that could affect your piece. By following our guidance, you can greatly minimise these risks. If problems do occur, we will attempt to fix them, but it may not be possible.
