  • Drop Back Slot

We hope you enjoyed painting at home. How should I prepare my pottery for drop back? Please wrap your pieces suitably for the journey, and make sure your name and order number are with your items when you drop them off. When will my pottery be ready? Around 14 days from drop back. We'll email you when it's ready and ask you to book a pick up slot. Can I get it back sooner? Most of the time, yes. A speedy firing service is usually available for £3, with items generally ready in 3 to 5 days. Just ask when you drop back. Book your drop back slot online so we know to expect you.

  • Pick up Slot

If we've contacted you to say your items are ready, book a pick up slot here. What if none of the times suit me? Book a slot for the day you'd like to collect and tell us on the booking form what time you'll arrive. That way we can have your items ready. If you come outside your booking time you may need to wait a few minutes if we're busy with other customers. Can someone else collect for me? Yes. Just book the slot and add their name to the booking form. What happens when I collect? We wait to wrap your items so you can inspect them before you leave and make sure you're happy. If there's anything wrong, please raise it with us at pick up. Please bring your own bag if you can, it's better for the environment. By law we have to charge 10p for a bag, and we can only take cash for bags unless you're buying something else at the same time.

  • 3D Baby Hand & Foot Casting

A 3D baby cast is the kind of keepsake you'll still have on the wall in twenty years. We take a mould of your baby's hand and foot at our St Neots studio, then cast, finish and frame them, so every tiny crease, dimple and fingernail is preserved exactly as it is today. What's included in a 3D baby casting session? • One hand cast and one foot cast, taken here in the studio • Professional finishing and mounting, either in a frame or on a plinth How old does my baby need to be? Suitable from birth, though we recommend waiting until baby is at least one month old. Toddlers and older children are welcome too, however these will be mounted on a plinth. Can I have something different cast? Yes. Two hands instead of a hand and a foot, siblings holding hands, or a different frame or layout. Enquire about the price before booking your session. What should we wear on the day? Casting is a little messy, so old clothes for you and a short sleeved vest for baby work best. When will my baby casts be ready? Casts need to dry fully before we decorate and frame. Please allow up to 5 weeks. We'll email you when ready to collect. Most casts come out beautifully first time. Occasionally we may need to ask you back to redo. Book your 3D baby hand and foot casting session at Crafty Monkey Studio, St Neots.

  • Baby Hand & Foot Imprints & Outprints

Book a session to capture your baby or toddler's tiny hands and feet in a keepsake you'll want on display. What's the difference between an imprint and outprint? • Clay imprints are pressed into the clay, giving a soft, sunken print • Plaster outprints are raised, giving two dimensional prints How much do baby imprints and outprints cost? • Framed: £75 • Unframed: £55 (imprints only) What happens in the session? Your 20 minute session covers taking the hand and foot impressions in clay and choosing your colours and finishes. If you'd also like prints on pottery while you're here, just say so on the booking form. We'll help with the prints, and you're welcome to stay longer if you want to decorate the pottery prints yourself. Who are these baby keepsakes suitable for? Babies from a few weeks old, toddlers, and older children too. Sibling keepsakes work beautifully, and they make lovely gifts for grandparents, godparents and christenings. When will my keepsakes be ready? Clay imprints and plaster outprints need to dry fully before we can process and finish them, so please allow 4 to 5 weeks. We'll email you with a link to book a pick up slot when they're ready. Preserve those tiny toes and chubby fingers and book an imprint or outprint session at Crafty Monkey Studio, St Neots.

  • Baby & Toddler Hand & Foot Print Pottery

Book this session to get your baby, toddler or preschooler's hand, foot or even bum prints onto pottery. We take the prints for you, then you can decorate the item or we can for an extra fee. Getting baby prints isn't an exact science. Little ones wriggle and curl their toes, and we can't promise a perfect print every time, but we'll work with your baby on the day to get the best we possibly can. Please book this session rather than a pottery painting session so our team can get the prints for you. How much does baby handprint pottery cost? • £4.50 Studio fee per session, plus the price of the pottery items you choose (browse the range and prices in our online shop) • Decoration by us starts at £3.50 per item and depends on the level of detail How long is the session? Your 30 minute slot gives you time to choose your items and for us to take the prints. If you're only doing one item and we're decorating, it may only take a few minutes. If you're staying to decorate your own pottery, you're welcome to stay beyond your slot, just leave enough time before we close. What time of day is best for baby prints? Earlier sessions or just after a nap tend to work best, as younger babies are usually happier and more co-operative. The last slots of the day in busy periods, especially weekends and the run up to Christmas, are less relaxed and better suited to older babies and toddlers doing one or two items. Coming with friends and their babies? Please book one of our group baby print sessions instead. Also want baby imprints, outprints or 3D casts? Book one of those sessions instead, as we can't always offer them during a print session. Just note on the booking form that you'd like prints on pottery too. When will my pottery be ready? Usually within 2 weeks, or up to 3 weeks if we're decorating and it's a busy period. If you decorate it yourself we can usually offer a speedy 3 to 5 day service. Book your baby print pottery session online at Crafty Monkey Studio, St Neots.

  • Hand & Foot Print Pottery (2 Mums)

Book this session for two mums with babies, toddlers or preschoolers who want hand, foot or bum prints on pottery. We take the prints for you, then you can decorate your items in the studio or leave them with us to decorate for an extra fee. Getting baby prints isn't an exact science. Little ones wriggle and curl their toes, and we can't promise a perfect print every time, but we'll work with your baby on the day to get the best we possibly can. How much does a baby print pottery session cost? • £4.50 Studio fee, plus the price of the pottery items you choose • Decoration by us starts at £3.50 per item and depends on the level of detail What can we put prints on? Choose from our full range of ceramics: plates, mugs, tiles, trinket dishes, ornaments and more. Have a browse of our online shop beforehand so you both have an idea of what you'd like and roughly what it will cost. Coming with more than two mums? Please book one of our larger group baby print sessions instead, so there's enough space and time for our team to take everyone's prints. When will our pottery be ready? Usually within 2 weeks. It may take a little longer if we're decorating for you or during a busy period. We'll email you when your finished pottery is ready to collect. Book your session for two online at Crafty Monkey Studio, St Neots.
