Our Events Cancellation Policy sets out timelines to cancel or reschedule. Back Next Events Cancellation Policy 1. General Policy Payment & Booking: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your space. Bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis and places are limited. Cancellations & Rescheduling : If you’re unable to attend, please read below and contact us at your earliest convenience by email . If we are not notified and you fail to attend your booking will be treated as a no-show. Credit: Any credit given will depend on the notice period provided before the event or workshop start date - see below. Credit can be used against other services we provide. 2. Cancellation Deadlines More than 21 days before the start date: Full refund minus a £5 admin fee or 100% credit can be applied as credit to your account to be used at a later date. More than 14 days before the start date: 75% credit can be applied as credit to your account to be used at a later date. 7 to 14 days before the start date: No refund but we can apply 50% as credit to your account. Less than 7 days before the start date: No refund will be provided but 50% of total you paid can be applied as credit on your account minus a £5 admin fee. Rescheduling More than 21 days before the start date: Participants may reschedule to another event of equal value without an additional fee. You can do this online or email us. Less than 21 days before the start date: Rescheduling is subject to our discretion and may be possible if we have a wait list and/or can fill your space. It may incur a £5 admin fee 4. No-Show Policy Participants who do not turn up for their scheduled event without prior notification will forfeit their fee. 5. Special Circumstances In cases of emergency or illness, please contact us as soon as possible. We may offer a one-time reschedule to a future event or workshop at our discretion or apply a credit to your account. 6. Cancellation by Us We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events due to low numbers, staff illness, or other unforeseen circumstances. Our Pottery Class & Worshops cancellation and rescheduling policy sets out how we handle this with timelines. Back Next Pottery Class & Workshop Cancellation Policy 1. Subject to Availability: Our stock levels on our website are not linked to our inventory and we run a busy studio where we sell items all the time so all Goods which appear on the Website are subject to availability. 4.4. Placing an Order: To place an order, select the products you wish to purchase and add them to your cart. Proceed to checkout and follow the instructions to complete your purchase. By completing the checkout process, you are making an offer to purchase the goods at the price stated. 4.6. You'll be given step-by-step instructions to create a pot using the slab method, this forms the base for your project. Once your foundation is ready, we’ll provide guidance on how to sculpt, tweak, and transform your clay into a characterful animal planter, while others on your class may be crafting mugs or lanterns. Paint in the Same Class Once your animal is built, it’s time to add a splash of personality with our vibrant underglaze paints. You can make this project by booking onto either our Slab Pot or Intro to Hand-Building Pottery Class. If you would like your items posted please be aware of our delivery policy should something happen in transit. Back Next Delivery Policy At Crafty Monkey, we understand that you may want your finished pottery delivered to you. While we will provide this this service, please note the following terms and conditions: 1. Packaging and Responsibility 1.1. We are committed to being as sustainable as possible and recycle packaging we receive our stock in. 1.2. We take care in packaging your pottery to ensure it is well-protected during transit. However, once your item leaves our studio, we cannot take responsibility for any damage, loss, or delays that may occur during shipping. 1.3. Unfortunately, pottery is not an item you can insure we are unable to offer insurance for pottery items, and any damage that occurs in transit will not be covered by Crafty Monkey Studio. 2. Delivery Timings 2.1. The time it takes for us to post your item will depend on how busy we are at the studio. During peak times, such as holidays or event periods, there may be a delay in processing your delivery. 2.2. Opting for delivery will likely extend the time it takes for you to receive your pottery, as priority is given to in-studio operations. 3. Delivery Costs 3.1. The cost of postage and packaging will be added to your final bill and must be paid before your item is posted. The exact cost will depend on the size and weight of your item. 3.2. If purchasing postage at the time of creating your piece we will estimate the size of box we will need to use which is related to the cost of postage you will be charged. If at the time of posting we feel it needs to be sent in a bigger box to allow for adequate packaging for the safety of your item, we will send you a payment link for you to pay the difference. 3.3. If purchasing items online and you select for it to be posted, 4. Postage Delays and Issues 4.1. While we will do our best to dispatch your item as soon as possible, we cannot guarantee delivery times once your item is with the postal service. 4.2.
