About the Event

Crafty Monkey is holding a Wear it Pink Boobie Night at Happy Mama Family Hub on the evening of Tuesday 17th October, guaranteed to give you a giggle!

You will receive a complimentary glass of pink fizz (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) on arrival.  There'll be a Wear it Pink selfie station where where you can capture your best poses and tag to socials to help raise awareness. Also the lovely Helen Deverell, a breast cancer survivor will be doing a quick talk about her experience having breast cancer, importance of checking yourselves and what to look out for and

the charity called CoppaFeel. It will then be time for the pottery workshop where you'll make your very own boob pot from clay! Perfect for your succulents!

Inspired by The Great Pottery Throwdown and fancy getting your hands on some clay then this two-hour beginner-friendly fun workshop is perfect!

You will learn clay-building techniques such as kneading and coiling to make your pot before you get stuck in molding boobs, don’t worry if they end up a bit wonky - it will make them look even more natural.  Lastly, you can opt to paint them with our glazes or leave them au natural - we'll be clear glazing them anyway to make them all shiny!

All creations will need to be left with us to glaze and fire and will be ready for collection either at Crafty Monkey or the Hub 3-4 weeks later.

Feel free to BYOB - it helps with your creativity and make it into a great mama's night out!

Advisories:

Playing with clay can be very messy, it does wash out of clothing but we would advise bringing an apron to wear - we don't want you to get clay on your best pink outfit.

Due to the nature of clay, problems can arise during the making, drying and firing process of the piece.  These will be greatly minimised by following the instruction given however we can't guarantee issues won’t affect your piece. If there are problems with your piece and we can rectify it we will.
