Sewing Classes
Sewing doesn't have to be boring and can be a lot of fun. Crafty Monkey offers the below sewing classes. Check out the events calendar for dates. Or we can run the below sewing clases at a time to suit you if you have a minimum of 4 people. They make a great theme for a birthday party, hen do or any other celebration. Age 8 years upwards, also suits adults. The cost is £10 per head, or £12 per head for the sock monkey workshop.
We also put on these workshops on from time to time so please get in touch or subscribe to our mailing list so we can update you with the latest events, offers etc.
Sock Monkeys
Stray Sock Animal
These are just too cute and the latest thing to hit Crafty Monkey. Every home should have one and they are a lot cheaper and less messy than the real thing!
During this fabulous workshop you will learn basic sewing techniques while making your very own Stray Sock Animal!

These special treats look good enough to eat and make excellent pin cushions or just simply for decoration.
During this two hour workshop you will learn basic sewing skills while making your own special treats!

We have wheelchair access, baby changing mat, a bottle warmer and a customer toilet. There is a disabled public toilet nearby
Parking is one minute walk away on Tebbutts Road
Felt hearts are great fun to make and you can personalise to your taste. They make great valentine or mothers day gifts or lovely decoration for the home.
Sock Monkey's are all the rage at the moment and it's not just children who like them, adults love them too.

Halloween Sewing Workshop
Wednesday 26th October 10am - 12pm
Learn how to sew while creating a useful funky sweetie bag for all those Halloween treats. During this fun instructor led, two hour workshop you will learn the simple running stitch.
Our sewing workshops have proven popular in the past so book early.
Age 8+ and if mum wants to join in she could create some lovely hangers shown in the left of the photo.
