St. Neots library underwent a refurbishment late 2010/early 2011 and we thought what better than to get local children involved in a project where they can contribute and be part of their local library by creating a piece of artwork to brighten up the walls of the childrens area so we did!

Local children came into the Crafty Monkey studio and painted a tile based on their favourite book, nursery rhyme or fairytale and after glazing and firing they were mounted on a board and the mural was presented to the library who have fixed it to the wall as a permanent feature of the library's children's section.

A big thank you to all the contributing artists - you should be very proud of yourselves for creating such a stunning and colourful piece of art. Crafty Monkey hopes you will visit it often and while there borrow and read lots of books! Also thanks to those that were able to attend the photoshoot with the local papers.
