How much does it cost?
Please look at our prices section here
Will my piece be food and dishwasher safe?
Yes, all pottery can be used to eat from and while we cannot be responsible for damage caused from a dishwasher we have found items to be fine in a dishwasher.
How long does it take to paint?
It depends on you! Most medium sized pieces take between one and two hours to paint. Obviously, young children will have a shorter attention span.
Can I bring in my own food and drink?
Birthday Parties are welcome to bring their own cake and for Children's parties squash is included. If you want to bring food then please discuss on booking. Adult parties, such as Hen Parties are welcome to bring alcohol and nibbles.
Do I need a reservation?
It is not essential, but please be aware during seasonal times such as the run-up to Christmas we can get very busy. Also parties and large groups need to book in advance.
How long until I can pick up my piece?
It generally takes 5 to 7 days for us to glaze and fire your item. We also have a speedy service for an extra fee for a 3 day service.
How old do I need to be?
There are no age requirements although children need accompanying by an adult. Everyone is welcome. You can be young, old, or in between! Parents or grandparents can bring in the little ones to do footprints or handprints (these make wonderful gifts or mementos!). Young children love to express their artistic talent and we have plenty of pieces that children like to paint and many suited to adults.
I'm not artistic and have never painted before so can I still do this?
Definitely. You do not have to be artistic to paint, a lot of the pottery has a design on it and we have many design books, stamps, stencils, and pictures to give you ideas and inspire you. Our friendly staff will be happy to advise you on techniques.
